Heather Shannon (USA), IMEC volunteer, joined IMEC as a volunteer after climbing the KIlimanjaro in 2023. Heather takes care of social media in general and communication. In her daily live she works for a medical institute in California.
Paula Bester (South Africa), IMEC volunteer, joined the financial team. She is founder of Afterburn Grow “We grow and supply a variety of Exotic Chillis/Peppers and Tomato’s, herbs and various seasonable vegetables. It is our belief that more care needs to be taken to reduce the impact on our environment. Together we can make a difference”.
Harry McLaren (UK), IMEC Volunteer, acquainted with KRTO when he was just 16 years old and living in Moshi, Tanzania, Harry later offered his emerging website development skills and has supported KRTO/IMEC over the last 18 years. As a Cybersecurity Consultant, Harry works alongside some of the largest companies in the UK and, in his personal time, several charities and NGOs across Scotland. Harry volunteers his services as IT/Website Support, develops and hosts the IMEC and KRTO websites, and provides any additional ad-hoc advice required.
